Titans #1, released in April 2008, marks the launch of a new ongoing series by writer Judd Winick and artist Ian Churchill. This series reunites the classic "New Teen Titans" roster from the 1980s, now as adults, to face a threat targeting everyone who has ever been a member of the team. 

Plot Synopsis

• The Reunion: Following a devastating attack on Cyborg's "Titans East" training team, the original members—Nightwing, Flash (Wally West), Donna Troy, Beast Boy, Starfire, Cyborg, and Raven—reunite to investigate.
• The Threat: Former Titans are being systematically attacked by mysterious, monstrous entities. The team eventually concludes that the demonic entity Trigon, Raven's father, is likely the mastermind behind the carnage.
• A Dark Beginning: The issue opens with the aftermath of the massacre of the Titans East team, leaving members like Power Boy dead and others, including Cyborg and Lagoon Boy, in critical condition.
