True Believers: Absolute Carnage # 1 2019 NM

True Believers: Absolute Carnage #1 (2019) is part a reprints released by Marvel Comics to provide background for the Absolute Carnage crossover event. 

While there are several different one-shots in this line, the main True Believers: Absolute Carnage - Carnage #1 is a reprint of the landmark Amazing Spider-Man #361 (1992).

The issue features the full debut of one of Spider-Man's most lethal enemies: 

• The Killer: After a series of brutal murders in New York City, Peter Parker investigates a crime scene where the words "Carnage Rules!" are written in blood.
• The Conflict: Spider-Man tracks the killer to a ruined building in Brooklyn, where he first encounters Cletus Kasady bonded with the Carnage symbiote.
• The Twist: Realizing that Carnage is stronger and more sadistic than Venom, a horrified Spider-Man determines he cannot stop this threat alone and must seek the help of his rival, Venom.
