Voodoo # 0, published by DC Comics on September 26, 2012, is a pivotal "Zero Month" issue released as part of the New 52 initiative. Written by Joshua Williamson and illustrated by Sami Basri, the issue serves as both a definitive origin story and a series finale for the title, as it was canceled alongside the release of this issue. 

"The Truth About Pris" 

The story provides a major retcon to the character's New 52 history, shifting the focus from the clone seen in previous issues to the original Priscilla Kitaen. 

• The Abduction: Flashbacks reveal that the human Priscilla Kitaen was abducted by the alien Daemonites while jogging in a park.
• The Transformation: She awakens in a life-support vat on a Daemonite spaceship to find she has been genetically engineered into a human-Daemonite hybrid.
• The Escape: After overhearing their plan to use hybrids to infiltrate Earth’s metahuman population, Priscilla manifests new powers—including wings and claws—and fights her way out of the ship.
• The Twist: Upon falling to Earth, she is rescued by the Black Razors (a government special ops team), but instead of being freed, she is taken to a secret facility for further testing. The issue establishes that the "Voodoo" seen in the first 12 issues of the series was actually a clone created by the Daemonites to take over Priscilla's identity. 
• Priscilla Kitaen (Voodoo): The original human whose DNA was used to create a hybrid sleeper agent.
