Wolverine # 1 2014 NM-

Wolverine # 1, which was released in February 2014 as part of the "All-New Marvel NOW!" initiative, initiates a new storyline where Wolverine has lost his healing factor and begins working for a low-level crime boss. The issue, written by Paul Cornell with art by Ryan Stegman, explores Logan's new, more vulnerable status quo. 

• A "Killable" Hero: Following the events of the previous "Killable" storyline, a virus has rendered Wolverine's famous healing factor inactive, making him mortal and vulnerable to injury. This fundamental change forces him to reconsider his life and methods.
• The New Status Quo: With his enemies now aware of his vulnerability, Wolverine drops most of his heroic responsibilities with the X-Men and Avengers and decides he needs to build himself up in a different way.
• Working for "The Offer": Seeking a new path and a way to deal with his condition, Logan joins a team of mercenaries and thieves working for a crime boss who goes by the name "The Offer".
• Packing Heat: Due to his lack of healing, Wolverine begins carrying and using a gun, a controversial decision that plays a key part in the new direction of the series.
• The Mission: In the issue, Wolverine and his new team are on a mission to break out a ninja from the Hand, who is apparently working for Sabretooth. The story sets up a darker, more "rogue" Logan as he navigates a world where he is no longer effectively invincible.
