Wonder Man # 12 1992 VF/NM

Wonder Man # 12 is a Marvel comic published in August 1992 that focuses on Simon Williams' solo battle against the villain Angkor, after he has been defeated once and the West Coast Avengers are unavailable to help. The issue's story is titled "Angkor... and Anger". 

The comic picks up after Wonder Man's initial defeat at the hands of the villain Angkor. 

• Recovery: Wonder Man's friends carry him back to his home so he can recover from his injuries.
• A Solo Mission: Once Simon Williams feels better, he goes to the Avengers compound to ask for help against Angkor. To his shock, his teammates in the West Coast Avengers plan to go to New York instead, leaving him to handle the situation alone.
• Final Battle: Simon storms out and tracks down Angkor at a nearby munitions plant. The two engage in a battle that is described as a fight "to the death", which results in Simon being "a changed man forever".
• Guest Appearances: The issue features appearances by other West Coast Avengers members including Spider-Woman II (Julia Carpenter), Hank Pym, U.S. Agent, Living Lightning, and the Scarlet Witch. Mister Fantastic is also mentioned as a guest character.
