Zatanna #1 (part of the DC All In initiative) follows the Mistress of Magic as she returns to the stage, only for her tour to be derailed by a ghostly new adversary from Old Hollywood. 

Story Synopsis 

The issue, written and illustrated by Jamal Campbell, introduces a blend of stagecraft and high-stakes mysticism. 

• The Set-up: Seeking a "less chaotic" life, Zatanna reunites her stage crew to launch a grand new tour. She chooses a historic theater with a legendary past, notably associated with an Old Hollywood star known as The Lady White.
• The Conflict: During rehearsals, the theater's posters suddenly come to life. Spectral white hands emerge from the walls and abduct her crew members, dragging them into the worlds of classic horror and noir films.
• The Action: To save her team, Zatanna dives into the posters, jumping between different cinematic realities—each rendered in a unique art style to match its genre.
• The Twist: After rescuing most of her crew, Zatanna confronts The Lady White, only to be betrayed and stabbed by a young crewmate named Adam, who is wielding a cursed blade.
