Zorro # 1 1993 Topps Comics VF/NM

Zorro # 1 1993 Topps Comics is an action-adventure story that introduces a new villain, the monstrous renegade mountain man named Buck Wylde, as Zorro becomes the target of his sadistic hunting traps. The creative team for the issue was writer Don McGregor, with art by Mike Mayhew and John Nyberg, and a painted cover by Brian Stelfreeze. 

The story, titled "Drink the Blood Straight," is a savage and brutal tale set in a remote, frontier wilderness. 

• The Villain: The issue focuses on the introduction of Buck Wylde, a deadly new villain who plays a major part in the series. He creates bizarre animal traps specifically designed to brutally cripple and maim before they kill.
• The Conflict: Because he is alone in the wilderness, Buck Wylde is free to indulge in his sadistic bloodsport. The story escalates when Zorro almost falls victim to one of his hideous snares.
• The Stakes: This event transforms Buck Wylde's hunting of wildlife into a savage, blood-combat, as he must slay Zorro to preserve his isolated, violent lifestyle.
