Invincible is an acclaimed Image Comics series and hit Amazon Prime Video show created by Robert Kirkman (of The Walking Dead). It follows Mark Grayson, a teenager who inherits superpowers from his father, Omni-Man, only to discover that his father's legacy is far darker than he ever imagined. 

The Original Comic Series 

The comic ran for 144 issues from 2003 to 2018 and is often called "the best superhero comic in the universe". 

• The Premise: It subverts typical superhero tropes, blending a colorful "Saturday morning cartoon" aesthetic with extreme graphic violence and permanent consequences for its characters.
