While Heather Hudson and the team settle into their near-complete new headquarters, a cosmic being known as Her (Kismet) crash-lands in Toronto after being pursued through space by an armada called the Consortium. Alpha Flight—including Guardian, Vindicator, Box, and Northstar—rushes to her aid but quickly finds themselves in a full-scale war zone as the alien fleet demands her surrender. The issue concludes with the Consortium uncloaking their mothership and threatening Toronto with total obliteration.
