Ant-Man # 1 released in January 2015, is the start of an acclaimed series written by Nick Spencer that focuses on the redemption story of Scott Lang, who is struggling to be both a hero and a father. The series was launched to coincide with the character's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe later that year. 

• "Second-Chance Man": The issue focuses on Scott Lang attempting to rebuild his life after a difficult past that includes imprisonment, a messy divorce, and a period of being deceased.
