Deathlok # 1 1991 NM-

Deathlok # 1, released in July 1991, launched the first ongoing series for the Michael Collins version of the character. This issue is a staple of Marvel’s "Copper Age" and is known for its distinctive silver ink or silver foil cover.

• Plot: Titled "The Wolf at the Door," the story follows Michael Collins—a software engineer trapped in a cyborg body—as he begins a quest to find his original human form. In this issue, he defies his lethal programming to show mercy to a cybernetic dog and battles a Warwolf sent by his former boss, Harlan Ryker.
