G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero / Tomb Raider #1 Cover B Stjepan Sejic Variant First Printing BN

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero / Tomb Raider #1 (releasing October 7, 2026) is the premiere issue of an all-new, 5-issue crossover miniseries from Skybound and Image Comics. It marks the first-time ever that gaming icon Lara Croft officially collides with the G.I. Joe universe.

The Premise & Plot

The series serves as a direct payoff to a surprise stealth cameo in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #330, where Lara Croft was shown infiltrating Castle Destro.

• The Mission: Lara Croft is tracking a powerful, ancient lost artifact—the Arbco Star—hidden deep within the heart of Cobra Island.
• The Alliance: Recognizing that Cobra Island is the most treacherous terrain she has ever faced, Lara teams up with her old acquaintance Shipwreck and an elite squad of Joes.
• The Enemy: They must launch a massive, synchronized joint-infiltration mission before Destro and the Baroness can get their hands on the artifact first.
